International performing arts festival ConTempo is happy to announce the Adventure edition! The festival will take place in Kaunas, Lithuania on 21-23 August, 2020. We are looking for artists and collectives that are not afraid to dive into this adventure with us, as no one is completely sure how the world will look in August.
What are we looking for?
Artists and collectives from Latvia, Estonia, Poland and Lithuania with teams of up to 5 people.
Performances – contemporary dance, theater, cross-disciplinary pieces which can take place outdoors – in the open-air urban spaces, on the water or near the water. You’ve read that correctly, we plan to use the beautiful rivers Nemunas and Neris, as well as water transport for performances, as the banks of river provide plenty of space for the social-distancing audience. Performances should be easily adaptable for different locations and comply with all social-distancing regulations.
How to apply?
Send us an email with your proposal to email@example.com.
Deadline: 15 June, 2020. The proposal has to include a description of up to 300 words, a link to a full video of your performance, technical rider and the number of times you can perform a day. Fee, travel and accommodation funding will be discussed individually with selected artists.
